黄西的脱口秀：“原创的脱口秀，有生活底气，各有风格。有着场景感与自身体验的包袱，笑中带泪，意犹未尽。”这也是黄西脱口秀以来一直坚持的风格和特色。黄西深知脱口秀最大的魅力在剧场才能完美展现，他也从未放弃在剧场和观众面对面的互动表演，归国以来在全国各地举办脱口秀巡演，深入剧场打磨段子，为了准备巡演几乎整年不间断创作段子、打磨细节，称在舞台上把观众逗笑是最大动力。
